The full details
Information used to make a gift
When you create a gift, you may provide your name, the recipient’s name, photographs, captions, dates, answers, notes and a personal letter. You choose what to include. Please upload only material you have permission to use and avoid sensitive documents or unnecessary personal information.
A saved gift stores its content and uploaded photos so it can be previewed and opened. Technical information such as request details, browser information and errors may be processed to deliver the site, investigate faults and prevent misuse.
Drafts on your device
The creator uses your browser’s local storage to keep drafts and the key that lets you manage your saved gift. This is device and browser specific. It is not an account backup or a promise that a draft has been saved online.
Clearing website data, using private browsing or moving to another device may remove access to the local draft. People using the same browser profile may be able to see it. Keep your original photographs and a copy of any irreplaceable writing.
Who can see a gift
A recipient gift opens through its link. Anyone you or the recipient forwards that link to may also be able to open it and view its photos and letter. Link privacy is not the same as an account login, a recipient password or end-to-end encryption.
Creator management access is separate from the recipient link. Keep the management key private. Gift pages are marked for search engines not to index them; this does not prevent someone with the link from sharing or copying content.
Service providers and support
Hosting and storage providers process saved gift content to operate the service. If you contact us through WhatsApp, your message is sent to WhatsApp and to our support number under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy practices.
If paid checkout is enabled, its provider will process payment details separately. The final launch notice must identify the active hosting and payment providers and explain any relevant international processing.
Prepared help answers do not require an AI request. If a live AI guide is enabled, text you deliberately submit there and limited conversation context are sent to its AI provider to answer you. Do not paste private letters, photos or financial information into help messages. The help endpoint does not persist a chat transcript; provider processing is separate.
Retention and your choices
The planned gift-access period is 3 calendar months from confirmed delivery. The final retention and deletion schedule will be published before purchases open.
Before launch, we must publish the final retention schedule for gifts, uploads, abandoned drafts, support records, payment records and backups, together with the deletion process. Any record kept for a legal obligation must have a stated purpose and retention basis.
For a privacy, correction or deletion request, message us on WhatsApp. Share only the information needed to identify the gift. We may ask you to demonstrate that you created it or are affected by its content. Never send an edit key, OTP, bank password or full payment-card details.
Removing local browser data clears a device’s draft; it does not delete an already saved gift from the service. Request server-side removal through support.
Your content and permissions
The proposed policy is to use your content to provide and support your gift, rather than to feature your private memories in advertising. Any public testimonial, photograph or gift example needs separate permission. We do not treat purchasing a gift as permission to publish it.
If a gift includes a child or someone else’s personal information, obtain appropriate permission. Contact us if content affects you and you want it reviewed or removed. Age eligibility and any child-related safeguards must be finalised before launch.
